Hình như một ý tưởng chủ đạo là sử dụng internet để giảm chênh lệch cơ hội giữa người bình thường và người khuyết tật: những người khuyết tật thiếu khả năng di chuyển thì vẫn làm một số công việc sử dụng công nghệ thông tin qua internet được.
